Avoid using neutral gray in color work next time, especially in such quantities. Also, try to vary the texture a little bit, it looks rather plasticky. Otherwise, quite interesting.

I knew I'd be disturbed by the eye the second I clicked on the thumbnail, but I just had to have a looksee! I kind of have to disagree with arenhaus on the neutral gray comment... I like how you used it in this situation, it really seems like you did it intentionally. It gives the feeling of a handpainted photograph, and it allows for a detailed background, but one that won't draw away from the subject matter. All in all, beautiful image, I love it!

Lovely is probably not the best word to describe this, but I love it anyway incredible attention to detail, the style is anime-ish but the skin textures etc still look very realistic. A strong message contained in it too. (oi, what happened to your Tomb of the Firefly pic?)

I really like that your women's face is not the only thing responsible for all of those high ratings. Too often for my taste some non-storytelling portraits which only show some technique-skills got excellent votes while noone ask for more than eyecandy. I like your art, because its not only boring realism. You need realism to make a picture believable, but if it shows only some yet existing faces and nothing more, then you only have to believe the truth.
